Greg has been with Boyd Commercial since May 2007 focusing on user representation and project leasing in the North and Northwest Houston. In that time, Greg has participated in over 400 transactions accounting for millions of square feet of commercial space and hundreds of acres of land with a total value of over $500,000,000. Greg has worked on marketing and leasing efforts for Prologis, Clay Development, Crow Holdings, First Industrial, Lovett Industrial, The Detering Company, and Warland Investments. Greg has also represented industrial office/warehouse users, distribution/logistics companies, manufacturing groups, and office tenants throughout his career. Greg is an active participant in the Houston chapters of CCIM and SIOR where he currently serves on the Houston/Gulf Coast chapter board.

Greg is a native Houstonian, attended high school at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory before majoring in History at the University of Texas. In his time in Austin, Greg was involved on campus as the president of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, as well as a Cannon Crew member and Strawboss of the Texas Cowboys.

Upon graduation in 2003, Greg was recruited to work for the National Headquarters of Sigma Phi Epsilon in Richmond, VA. For 4 years, Greg worked as a consultant to individual chapters in the Mid-Atlantic region, Director of Recruitment for all chapters, and started over a dozen individual chapters throughout the country.

Greg is an avid sports fan and regularly embarrasses himself on the golf course. He also enjoys all kinds of music and is a former member of the Houston Symphony Chorus. Greg, his wife, Wimberly Winn Barra, and their sons, David, Henry, and JP are members of Chapelwood United Methodist and live in Spring Valley.
